GROSVENOR HOTEL / SHAFTESBURY

The cellar at the Grosvenor dates back about a thousand years, phantom monks and a distressed lady in grey haunt the hotel.

HOURGLASS RESTAURANT / FORDINGBRIDGE

This former fourteenth century farmhouse has a mist of an old lady that warms herself by sitting by one of the original fireplaces.

JOLLIFFE HOUSE / POOLE

The cleaning staff have been played around with by a ghostly presense. Handprints on freshly polished surfaces and equipment being turned on and off have spooked out the cleaners. Footsteps have also been heard in empty parts of the building.

JUDGE JEFFERYS RESTAURANT / DORCHESTER

Many of Judge Jefferys victims have been seen visiting this building, they move really slowly about the place really overwhelmed in sadness.

Knowlton Rings / Horton

Knowlton church stands in the centre of a henge dating back 4,000 years to the Neolithic period. Knowlton lacked the standing stones  of Stonehenge but probably had upright wooden posts instead. It is said that a large figure of a man dressed in a long cloak haunts the church. Just north of knowlton is a place called Bagmans lane, there resides a much more nasty and terrifying  ghost, it is thought to be that of a very large dog [a Black shuck] with glowing red eyes ,it comes pounding towards you with real purpose, if it goes past you your fine, but if it stops and growls then you'd best head for the local church for complete forgiveness.
