TABLE TIPPING                                           

Definition - Certain movements of tables,attributed to the departed spirits and spiritual forces,but more commonly known as the muscular force of people in connection with the object that moved.

In the early 1900s,when mediums all over the country were claiming to comunicate with the spirits,many ordinary people found an interest in paranormal phenomena. Due to these people not having access to professional mediums they developed "home circles" which would normally mean a small group of family and friends who would get together and attempt to contact the spirit world.Some of  the home circles began to believe that there attempts to contact the spirit world were extremely successful but many were not so sure.

A lot of the home circles quickly began to realise that the causes of tables to tip and knock were not the work of ghosts but were more likely to be that of the human mind.The energy created by a group of people who are all intent on one thing could produce amazing results.

The basic technique to table tipping is as such,A group of people simply all sit around a table with each person resting their hands on the surface,if everyone is patient they will be rewarded with some sort of phenomena,it is said that the more patient the group is and the more sittings the group attend  then the groups energy will increase and therefore the phenomena will increase with it.Once the group has experienced strange knocks and effects it may be possilble to ask questions and recieve knocks and tilts as replys.

TRY IT FOR YOURSELF                                       

1,Select your group for the sessions,the best amount to start with is about 4/5 people make sure these people can be present for all sessions.

2,You will need to find a comfortable room where you can all feel relaxed for the experiment.

3,Choosing a table,its recommended to use a small wooden table thats not to big or heavy.

4,Lighting,table tipping seems to get best results when done in near darkness.

5,Be sure to have everyones hands on the table at all times,if strange things start to happen it can be very exciting but no hands should leave the table at this point.

6,It may happen that you experience no phenomena at all for the first few sittings but it is important to keep the same group of people and to keep trying,something will eventually occur.

PSYCHOMETRY                                  

Definition- The ability or art of divining information about people or events associated with an object solely by touching or being near to it.

The term psychometry was first devised in 1842 by Joseph R Buchanan, an American physiologist, who claimed it could be used to measure the soul of all things. Buchanan also said that the past is entombed in the present. 

psychometry involves retrieving information from a non living object. The psychometric picks up emanations ,emotions and the history from the object, these senses could be from the object itself or even the past ,present or future of the owner .Psychometric impressions may come in the form of emotions (clairsentience), sounds (clairaudience), scents, tastes or images (clairvoyance).

Old buildings can sometimes trigger off these feelings, objects that have belonged to families for many years can do also.

Psychometry is often used by mediums to help make contact with a dead person, holding a object that was owned by the deceased can make contacting this spirit much easier. psychics also use psychometry when trying to help in police work, psychics can retrieve information about a missing  person or gaining evidence in a crime.

TRY IT YOURSELF

In order to practise psychometry you will need an object ,jewellery holds energy easily so its a good object to begin with. with your eyes closed ,hold the object with both hands ,get a feel for it, is it rough or smooth ,hot or cold. try to imagine images of the object, obviously the more you practise the more likely you are to improve your ability. Make it a habit of writing down your impressions in a notebook its  good to look back at any successes you might have .Charity and antique shops are a good place to find unusual and old objects to practise on.

EVP  ELECTRONIC VOICE PHENOMENA                

This is where mysterious voices have been recorded from people not present at the time of recording.

Using simple tape recorders, EVP researchers have made amazing recordings of ghost voices that respond to questions asked, the voices have also seemed to give advice.

While many think EVP is a communication with spirits, others believe that it's simply residual psychic energy and record events that have occurred in the past.

The interest in EVP began around 1920, Thomas Edison a highly regarded scientist, tried to invent a machine that could communicate with the dead, Thomas once wrote "If our personality survives, then it is strictly logical or scientific to assume that it retains memory, intellect, other faculties, and knowledge that we acquire on this Earth. Therefore. .if we can evolve an instrument so delicate as to be affected by our personality as it survives in the next life, such an instrument, when made available, ought to record something.

Scientist's even today are still unsure what causes these voices to happen, to this day they are working on the reasons for this phenomena.

To try EVP for yourself , no expensive equipment is needed to experiment. A basic tape recorder with an external microphone is sufficient although a white noise will need to be produced, this can be done by the sound of running water or maybe a fan. A digital Dictaphone is the most popular choice of use. Its a good idea to keep recordings short , having to listen to a long recording may get quite tedious.

OUIJI BOARD                                       

In 1889, the Ouiji Board was said to have been invented by William Fuid. The patents were purchased in 1966 by the Parker Brothers, by 1967 the Ouiji Board was extremely popular, but before too long many people thought how dangerous the Ouiji Board was. Many Psychiatrists, Medical Doctors, and Psychologists have written articles warning people about the use of the Ouiji Board.

The Ouiji Board is a plain board of  Masonite with a paper top. The Alphabet, the words yes and no, and goodbye is printed on the top. The board also has a small heart with a see through section, this is used as the message indicator.

Two people use a Ouiji Board, they would sit across the table from each other and lightly place their fingers on the message indicator. One of the two people would ask a question, the indicator will begin to move letter to letter, spelling out words or sentences, or move to yes or no, when it is finished answering the question the indicator would move to goodbye.

Over the years there have been reports of  possession of users, and it is important to be respectful. Some people have become very emotionally disturbed when using it foolishly.

POLTERGEIST                                     

definition= A ghost that manifests itself by noises, rapping's, and creation of disorder.

Poltergeist is a German word meaning " noisy spirit ". Many people believe a Poltergeist is an invisible ghost that interacts with us by means of influencing inanimate objects. There are lots of stories, and many detail bed-shaking, furniture being moved, objects being thrown ,and levitation .

Poltergeist activity may actually have nothing to do with ghosts or spirits. As the activity always seems to centre around an individual, it is believed that it is caused by the subconscious mind of that person. The individual in question is often under emotional, psychological or physical stress (even going through puberty).

ENFIELD POLTERGEIST

One of the most documented poltergeist case's was in Enfield , London, A woman and her four children, who were living at a council house at the time experienced all kinds of Poltergeist phenomena ever identified, over 1500 separate incidents were recorded.

A Photographer investigating the phenomenon was hit on the head by a toy brick, apparently the brick had materialised out of thin air, flew across the room and hit him. Many item's were said to catch on fire on there own accord, metal objects were also thought to twist and bend for no reason.

The most alarming part of the Enfield Poltergeist was the possession of 12 years old Janet, a deep gruff voice would replace her own, Janet would also be constantly levitated out of her bed and trapped against the ceiling.

These event's took place between August 1977 and September 1978, this case has baffled many people over the years and can be classified as a true "classic" poltergeist case.

 

  AURA                                          

Definition-A distinctive but intangible quality surrounding a person or thing.

The aura, a field of energy that surrounds people and other living things, reflects the energy of the spirit in that body. Commonly called  the etheric field, the energy extends about two to four inches around the body and is usually a light or pastel shade .Layering the etheric is the aura which contains every colour and shade in the rainbow and usually extends 2-5 feet from the body. Its colours ,textures and patterns reveal much information about physical, emotional, mental,  and spiritual states. An aura is like a thumbprint, it is completely individual and expresses who you really are in all your splender.

  COLOUR AND THERE DEFINITIONS

RED- Strong energy,  primal creative force ,and fire. This is a life promoting energy. Strong passion, mind, and will. This colour can indicate a birth or transmutation .It affects the circulatory and reproductive systems, sexual energies, and awaken of abilities or talents. The darker shade reflects anger, hate, or unexpected change. Too much red can reflect over stimulation, inflammation, or aggression.

ORANGE- Warmth, joy, social ness, and creativity. Open to new awareness of the astral plane. Too much orange can reflect pride, emotional imbalance, and vanity.

YELLOW-Wisdom, mental activity, optimism, and learning opportunities. Awakening of  pyschic abilities and clairsentience. Pastel yellow reflects spiritual development, and enthusiasm for life .Deeper shades of yellow shoe excessive thinking, and being overcritical.

GREEN- Calm, growing compassion, sensitivity, sympathy, reliable, dependable, and open minded. As well as an abundance of strength and friendliness .Bright green indicates the ability to heal. Darker shades of green show insecurity, jealousy, self doubt, mistrust and miserliness.

BLUE- Calm, quietness, devotion, truth, ability for clairaudience, and telepathy. Lighter blue indicates imagination and good intuition. Royal blue shows honesty and good judgement. The darker shades indicate blocked perceptions, worrying, melancholy, domineering, fearfulness, forgetfulness, and over sensitivity.

VIOLET-Independence ,intuition, warmth, transmutation, humility, spirituality and important dream activity.

PURPLE-Ability to handle daily activities with practicality. Red/Purple-shows great passion or strength of will. Darker shades of purple indicate a need to overcome something. Intense erotic imagination, and feeling misunderstood.

PINK-Purity, compassion, quiet, modest, and love of art and beauty. Darker shades show immaturity and lack of truthfulness.

GOLD- Dynamic spiritual energy. Higher energies of devotion, restoration of harmony, coming into ones own power, great inspiration and enthusiasm. Darker shades represent the process of awakening higher inspiration ,life is not clarified.

WHITE- Truth, purity, cleansing and awakening great creativity.

GREY- Innate abilities. If silver is the colour it reflects feminine energies and to leave no task undone. Lots or grey in an aura means secretive.

BROWN- Around the head and feet shows growth. Industry and organisation .Around the chakra shows a need to cleanse. Brown can reflect specific problem areas physically.

BLACK- Protection and a shield from outside energies. lots of black can mean secrets or physical imbalance.

TWINKLING LIGHTS- Great creativity, fertility and can often indicate pregnancy.

 U.F.O                                                

Unidentified flying object: Relates to any airborne object which by performance, aerodynamic characteristics or unusual features, does not conform to any presently known aircraft or missile type, or which cannot be identified as a familiar object.

Saturday 21st may 1977 was the date that something very strange was hovering in the Dorset sky, here is a few accounts of the weird goings on.

A courting couple who were parked up in there car on a quiet road near parley cross suddenly had a great beam of light shine into the rear window of there car, unsure what was causing it and feeling quite alarmed they decided to move along, it was then they saw what was causing the lights. A large silver disc shaped object hovered over a nearby field ,they noticed a silver/green light beaming down from the centre of the craft, they stopped to watch the object before it veered away very fast then dropped behind some trees. 

A local builders wife also saw the same thing from a dark lane near Longham, she first saw beams of light shining onto her car bonnet when looked up to see what the cause was she saw what she described as the bottom of a dinner plate with a silvery bright cone shaped light beaming down from the centre of the plate ,it seemed that it was tracking her every move.

A deck chair assistant was walking to catch a bus in nearby Poole when he also spotted something strange in the sky, at first he thought it was just the moon, but as he stared into the evening sky he realised the moon was elsewhere in the sky, what he saw was a flying saucer shape with another shape on top of it and a beam of white light from the centre of the object pointing towards the ground.

Further down the coast in Parstone, a lady left her husband and daughter watching television while she went out into the garden to fetch the washing in, she also saw a circular object with a dome shape on the top, beneath it were several lights shielded with what looked like eyelids, when the eyelids slid back beams of light lit up the ground, this lady also went to say that she saw an oblong window on the craft with two figures stood behind it with long faces ,silver suits and skull like caps.
