                                                            GLOUCESTERSHIRE.

             A castle has stood here since 1110,and its most famous visitor is King John, This castle has been used mostly as a chapel and a prison.

Lots of ghosts have been reported at ST BRIAVELS ,the ghost of a crying child can be heard in the solar room, repairs recently to the ceiling found a corpsed baby fall from the ceiling, is this the source of the crying child?.

Another ghost is that of a man in a full suit of armour in the grounds of the castle, he is quite intimidating, when he appeared in the 1950 it  was thought it was one of William the conquerors soldiers.

The Hanging room has a very strange feel to it, and the oubilette room (oubilette means forget) has had people leaving the castle to never return.

The castle jail has graffiti left on the walls this proves it was often the last place some people ever saw.
