Saturday 21st may 1977 was the date that something very strange was hovering in the Dorset sky, here is a few accounts of the weird goings on.

A courting couple who were parked up in there car on a quiet road near parley cross suddenly had a great beam of light shine into the rear window of there car, unsure what was causing it and feeling quite alarmed they decided to move along, it was then they saw what was causing the lights. A large silver disc shaped object hovered over a nearby field ,they noticed a silver/green light beaming down from the centre of the craft, they stopped to watch the object before it veered away very fast then dropped behind some trees. 

A local builders wife also saw the same thing from a dark lane near Longham, she first saw beams of light shining onto her car bonnet when looked up to see what the cause was she saw what she described as the bottom of a dinner plate with a silvery bright cone shaped light beaming down from the centre of the plate ,it seemed that it was tracking her every move.

A deck chair assistant was walking to catch a bus in nearby Poole when he also spotted something strange in the sky, at first he thought it was just the moon, but as he stared into the evening sky he realised the moon was elsewhere in the sky, what he saw was a flying saucer shape with another shape on top of it and a beam of white light from the centre of the object pointing towards the ground.

Further down the coast in Parkstone, a lady left her husband and daughter watching television while she went out into the garden to fetch the washing in, she also saw a circular object with a dome shape on the top, beneath it were several lights shielded with what looked like eyelids, when the eyelids slid back beams of light lit up the ground, this lady also went to say that she saw an oblong window on the craft with two figures stood behind it with long faces ,silver suits and skull like caps.
